Mt. Evans Climbing Information, Colorado's Fourteeners (including photos & videos)

Mt. Evans is the closest of Colorado's Fourteeners to Denver and is in the Front Range of Colorado's Rocky Mountains

This Fourteener was named in honor of John Evans, second governor of the Colorado Territory from 1862 to 1865.

Mt. Evans' summit is at an elevation of 14,264 feet.
