Hiking Trails Colorado Springs - Ring the Peak Frosty's
Located near Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Ring the Peak trail is a collection of trails, four wheel drive roads, and a few paved roads that circumnavigates Pikes Peak. These trails are on federal, state, county, city, and sometimes private lands. The total length of the the Ring the Peak trail system is approximately 63 miles. At this time only about 80% of the route is completed.
There are 2 sections of the Ring the Peak Trail on POCKET PALS Trail Map #2 in the Pikes Peak Region Series: 1) Elk Park to Frosty's Park and 2) Frosty's Park to Bear Creek. The other trails included on Trail Map #2 are: Forester (Trail 701), Mt. Big Chief, Mt. Rosa, Nelson's, Penrose/Rosemont Reservoir, Trail 667, Trail 720 and Trail720a.
