San Luis Peak Trail (in Pike National Forest) - Trail Information

The San Luis Peak Trail is located southwest of Colorado Springs in the Pike National Forest.

The trail begins from Emerald Valley Road, follows portions of the Emerald Valley Pipeline and Mt. Vigil trails, then heads southwest toward San Luis Peak. Along the way, it passes near Bear Trap Ranch and the base of Mt. Vigil before reaching scenic summit views.

The San Luis Peak Trail is on POCKET PALS Trail Map #1 in the Pikes Peak Region series. The other trails included on this map are: Devil's Slide, Emerald Valley Pipeline, Gray Back Peak, Knight's Meadow, MacNeill, Mt. Vigil, Ridge, St. Peter's Dome, and Sugarloaf Mountain.
