Gray Back Peak is a visually prominent peak on the east side of Emerald Valley, just southwest of Cheyenne Mountain.

A nice climb through a shady evergreen forest which is great on those warm summer days.  At the summit there are excellent views of the surrounding mountains (Mt. Vigil, Sugarloaf, Cheyenn Mtn.) Emerald Valley and Fort Carson.
