Mt. Buckhorn Trail Information (including Photos & Videos)

Small Pocket Maps, Big Outdoor Adventures  Pocket Pals Trail Maps

The Mt. Buckhorn Trail is a fabulous trail that does not get the high levels of use that many of the other trails in North Cheyenne Canon Park get.  In addition, because of its southern exposure, it is a great trail to hike in the winter time as it does not hold onto the snow as long. This trail will eventually connect to the Captain Jack's Trail, a very popular mountain biking and hiking trail. Captain Jack's (Trail 665) is a multi-use trail so please be aware of, and considerate of all trail users.

This trail is on POCKET PALS Trail Map #3 of the Pikes Peak Region Series. The other trails included on Map #3 are Bear Creek Canyon, Captain Jack's, Columbine, Daniel's Pass, Mt. Cutler, Mt. Muscoco, Seven Bridges, Silver Cascade Falls, Spring Creek, Stratton Open Space, St. Mary's Falls, Strawberry Hill, and Trail 624.

This map is also available in digital format to be loaded onto your mobile device. When used with a free app it will allow you to see your current location directly on the map (your location is marked by a blue icon).  LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR DIGITAL MAPS HERE.
