Sidney Harrison Trail - Information and Map (near Perry Park, Colorado)
The Sidney Harrison Trail travels through a quiet, forested section of the Pike National Forest northwest of Monument and near Perry Park, Colorado. The route passes through the rugged foothills of the Rampart Range and connects with other trails and forest roads in this less-developed backcountry area.

A notable destination along the route is the remaining wreckage from the 1952 aircraft crash that claimed the life of Captain Sidney Harrison, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. The crash site serves as both a historic landmark and a solemn memorial, and visitors should view the wreckage respectfully and leave all materials undisturbed.
The trail is best suited to hikers, trail runners, experienced mountain bikers, equestrians, and history enthusiasts who are comfortable traveling on remote forest routes. Because the area contains numerous trail and road intersections, a detailed map can be especially helpful for identifying junctions, planning connecting routes, and staying oriented.
